Therapies, Hammam Rituals Draw Interest at Astor Garden, Aqua House Thermal & Beach near Varna

Eastern therapies and hammam rituals are generating significant guest interest at the Astor Garden Hotel, according to SPA Manager Nikolay Popov. The hotel is situated within the Aqua House Thermal & Beach complex, which Popov stated continuously updates its services to enrich the visitor experience and meet the demands of modern travelers seeking variety and holistic wellness. The complex aims to support both mental and physical well-being.

Guests have access to a wide range of amenities, including multiple pools suitable for lap swimming, alongside customized beauty treatments and wellness packages. Popov noted that certain treatments require careful consideration, particularly following cosmetic or invasive procedures. For clients recovering from plastic surgery, high humidity and steam should be avoided, making hammam rituals unsuitable.

While traditional massages must also be approached cautiously, some methods from Chinese medicine may remain appropriate. Aromatherapy remains a popular choice due to its immediate effects, often combined with other treatments. Furthermore, while mud therapy is available, the management is exploring the integration of algae-based treatments due to their proven health benefits and local availability of seaweed.

BTA reports on the extensive network of certified spa, wellness, and medical spa centers across Bulgaria, exceeding 200 facilities.
