The global wine industry is currently focusing its attention on Sofia for Discover.Vino 2026, which is being held at Hall 3 of the National Palace of Culture (NDK) on Friday and Saturday. This seventh international vino exhibition emphasizes the diverse world’s wine regions and the individuals who represent them. Organizers from DiVino stated that attendees can meet winery representatives and wine experts who will discuss the origins of the wines and the regions they hail from.
The event is open to the public from 2:00 PM to 9:00 PM on Friday, and from 12:00 PM to 9:00 PM on Saturday. Discover.Vino 2026 presents a curated selection, centering the theme on wine origin as a determinant of style, character, and identity, ranging from classic European terroirs to emerging destinations on other continents. Over two days, visitors can explore the diversity of global wine regions in one location, learning how climate, soil, and tradition influence a wine’s profile, and comparing different terroirs through tastings.
The exhibition solidifies its role as a venue for connoisseurs and professionals seeking depth and authenticity beyond simple tasting. It provides a direct interface for importers and the public, including HoReCa industry representatives, sommeliers, and traders, to sample new brands and vintages, exchange knowledge, and interact with winery representatives visiting Bulgaria for the event. For the general public, the fair offers an opportunity to discover new selections, enhance knowledge, and purchase wine on site.
The program also features masterclasses designed to deepen understanding of international wines, complemented by a dedicated zone offering food, delicacies, coffee, and desserts between tastings.
