41st Flora Burgas Exhibition to Open on May 1 Dedicated to Giro d’Italia

The 41st Flora Burgas flower exhibition is scheduled to open on May 1. According to Miroslava Argirova, Manager of the Flora Exhibition Centre, the event will be thematically centered around the Giro d’Italia 2026 cycling tour. Argirova confirmed that the scope of the upcoming exhibition is significantly expanding this year, noting that the number of traditional art installations prepared for the event will be doubled compared to previous years.

She reported strong national participation, confirming the involvement of over 100 entities from across the country, which include major distributors of both flowers and garden equipment. In alignment with the spirit of the major cycling event, the exhibition’s focus will emphasize themes of an active lifestyle, movement, and cycling culture. Argirova stated that the display areas will feature thousands of plants, showcasing compositions that reflect this dynamic theme.

The timing of the exhibition is relevant to the cycling schedule, as the first stage of the Giro d’Italia is slated to run from Nessebar to Burgas on May 8. The gathering of horticultural professionals and the presentation of diverse flora are set to draw significant attention to the region’s agricultural and cultural sectors. The event is expected to serve as a major platform for industry engagement within the broader context of the national sporting celebration.
