41st Flora Burgas Exhibition to Open on May 1 Dedicated to Giro d’Italia

The 41st Flora Burgas flower exhibition is scheduled to commence on May 1. According to Miroslava Argirova, Manager of the Flora Exhibition Centre, the upcoming event will be thematically dedicated to the Giro d’Italia 2026 cycling tour. Speaking to BTA on Thursday, Argirova highlighted several enhancements planned for this year’s iteration of the exhibition.

She noted that the number of traditional art installations prepared for the event will be doubled compared to previous years. Furthermore, she confirmed that the scope of participation is extensive, with over 100 national participants expected, including numerous distributors specializing in flowers and garden equipment. In alignment with the spirit of the cycling tour, which features a first stage running from Nessebar to Burgas starting on May 8, the flora exhibition will curate compositions centered on themes of active lifestyles, movement, and cycling.

Argirova added that the trade areas are set to showcase thousands of plants, providing a comprehensive display for industry professionals and the public alike. The event serves as a major gathering point for the horticultural sector, utilizing the Giro d’Italia as a dynamic framework for its artistic and commercial presentations. The management has prepared the exhibition to reflect a connection between nature, vitality, and athletic pursuits, ensuring a rich and varied experience for attendees.

Argirova’s overview suggests the 41st edition promises to be one of the most substantial in recent years.
