The 41st Flora Burgas flower exhibition is scheduled to open on May 1, with its theme dedicated to the Giro d’Italia 2026, according to Flora Exhibition Centre Manager Miroslava Argirova speaking to BTA on Thursday. Argirova noted that the planned traditional art installations for this year’s exhibition will be doubled compared to previous years. She confirmed that the event anticipates participation from over 100 national entities, which includes various flower and garden equipment distributors.
In alignment with the spirit of the cycling tour, the first stage of which is set to run from Nessebar to Burgas on May 8, the flora exhibition will showcase floral compositions centered on themes of active lifestyles, movement, and cycling. Argirova stated that thousands of plant specimens will be displayed across the trade areas of the exhibition. The focus aims to connect horticulture with an active outdoor lifestyle, mirroring the spirit of the Giro d’Italia.
Miroslava Argirova emphasized the breadth of participation, suggesting that the event will be a significant gathering for the Bulgarian horticultural sector. The preparations are geared towards presenting a diverse range of plant materials and related goods to the public and industry professionals alike.
