The 41st Flora Burgas flower exhibition is scheduled to commence on May 1. According to Flora Exhibition Centre Manager Miroslava Argirova, the 2026 edition will feature a theme dedicated to the Giro d’Italia. Argirova noted that the exhibition will feature twice the number of traditional art installations compared to previous years.
She confirmed that the event anticipates participation from over 100 entities across the country, including various distributors of flowers and garden equipment. In alignment with the spirit of the cycling tour, the first stage of which is set to run from Nessebar to Burgas on May 8, the flora exhibition aims to showcase compositions reflecting an active lifestyle, movement, and cycling. Argirova added that the trade areas will feature the display of thousands of plants.
The focus of the 41st flora exhibition appears to be integrating themes of physical activity with horticultural displays. This year’s preparation highlights an expanded scope of artistic contributions alongside the expected volume of plant life, drawing parallels with the regional sporting event.
