Centre at Ensana Aquahouse Hotel Develops New Anti-stress Programmes

The spa centre at Ensana Aquahouse Hotel, located in the Sts. Constantine and Helena resort near Varna on the Black Sea, is introducing updated anti-stress programmes. According to spa manager Nikolay Popov, these services are primarily designed for working individuals seeking mental recovery, aiming to reduce chronic levels of stress.

He noted that the increasingly fast pace of modern life contributes to accumulated mental tension, and when the mind is overloaded without adequate physical activity, it can predispose the body to degenerative processes. The centre’s offerings appeal to all age groups. Popov highlighted that even young professionals seeking to establish their careers utilize the anti-stress therapies due to the high pressure inherent in competitive environments.

The programmes are structured with an individualized approach to ensure benefits continue after the guest’s stay concludes. Mineral water is cited for its ability to reduce tension by signaling relaxation to the central nervous system, thereby slowing heart rate and decreasing blood pressure. Furthermore, since late 2025, Ensana Aquahouse has provided a specialized underwater kinesitherapy programme.

This service targets the restoration of physical function following surgery, joint replacement, or conditions involving temporary loss of movement or coordination. A certified kinesitherapist guides and supports the patient’s movements throughout the session. BTA regularly features information on certified spa, wellness, and medical spa centres across Bulgaria in its “BG SPA: Salus per aquam, Health Through Water” feature, which covers over 200 facilities.

This initiative is linked to the HEALTHXCHANGE SUMMIT, scheduled for May 11 to 13, 2026, in various Bulgarian locations.
