Centre at Ensana Aquahouse Hotel Develops New Anti-stress Programmes

The spa facility at Ensana Aquahouse Hotel, located in the Sts. Constantine and Helena resort near Varna on the Black Sea, is enhancing its offerings with new anti-stress programmes. According to spa manager Nikolay Popov, these services primarily serve working professionals seeking mental recovery by targeting chronic stress reduction.

He noted that the fast pace of modern life often leads to accumulated mental tension and potential degenerative physical processes. The spa centre’s therapies are popular across all age groups. The manager highlighted that even early-career individuals seek anti-stress treatments due to the high pressure of today’s dynamic professional environment.

The programmes utilize an individualized approach, ensuring that wellness practices can be maintained by guests after their stay concludes. Mineral water is cited as a key element in tension reduction, as its effects signal relaxation to the central nervous system, thereby slowing heart rate and decreasing blood pressure. Furthermore, since late 2025, the facility has introduced specialized underwater kinesitherapy programmes.

These are designed to restore physical function for individuals recovering from surgery, joint replacement, or those managing neurodegenerative conditions. These exercises are actively guided and supported by a kinesitherapist. BTA reports on these services as part of its feature, “BG SPA: Salus per aquam, Health Through Water,” which covers over 200 certified spa, wellness, and medical spa centres across Bulgaria.

This industry initiative is connected to the HEALTHXCHANGE SUMMIT, scheduled for May 11–13, 2026, in Varna, among other locations.
