He stated that this influx reflects sustained regional demand coupled with strong brand recognition across the Balkans and the Middle East.
The Katarino SPA Hotel was recognized for its quality when it was ranked first among the top ten five-star mountain hotels in Bulgaria for 2025, marking the second consecutive year for this distinction. This ranking is based on the HotScore™ index, which assesses guest reviews and ratings from over 1,200 hotels nationwide. The hotel has accumulated several other accolades, including being named the best four-star mountain spa hotel in 2020 and receiving recognition for eco-friendliness in 2021.
The hotel’s extensive spa centre provides complimentary access to numerous thermal and relaxation facilities. These include indoor and outdoor pools heated to approximately 34°C, a cave-style jacuzzi, a salt room, and various saunas (Finnish, Kiva, and infrared). Guests can also utilize an aroma and panoramic steam bath, a laconium, and a tepidarium.
