41st Flora Burgas Exhibition to Open on May 1 Dedicated to Giro d’Italia

The 41st Flora Burgas flower exhibition is scheduled to commence on May 1st. According to Miroslava Argirova, the Manager of the Flora Exhibition Centre, the event will be themed around the upcoming Giro d’Italia 2026 cycling tour. Speaking to BTA on Thursday, Argirova announced several notable expansions for this year’s event.

Argirova highlighted that the number of traditional art installations prepared for the exhibition will be doubled compared to previous years. Furthermore, she confirmed robust participation, noting that over 100 vendors from across the country are expected to attend, representing distributors of both flowers and garden equipment. In alignment with the spirit of the cycling event, the flora presentations will specifically feature compositions that emphasize an active lifestyle, movement, and cycling culture.

The venue is set to display thousands of various plants across its trade areas. This thematic focus is timed around the initial stages of the Giro d’Italia, with the first leg of the tour slated to travel from Nessebar to Burgas on May 8th. The exhibition serves as a major showcase for the regional horticultural industry, integrating artistic displays with commercial trade.

Miroslava Argirova confirmed that the blend of professional participation and thematic relevance aims to connect the beauty of the flora with the energy of sport, drawing significant interest from both industry professionals and the public.
