Lucky Bansko Aparthotel SPA & Relax recently received two awards in the category of retreat tourism for 2026, according to the resort. The recognition comes from the Spring Travel Soare forum, organized by Travel & LifeStyle Magazine with support from the Tourism Ministry. The awards include a placement in the top 50 best retreat destinations and first place for the best retreat destination in Bulgaria for 2026.
The resort’s spa center is designed as a next-generation facility focusing on holistic recovery and personalized guest care, stated Assoc. Prof. Asya Pandzherova, Executive Director.
The detox programs incorporate treatments such as hydro-massage baths using therapeutic extracts, hammam rituals, and Rasul therapies utilizing mineral mud and clay. Guests also have access to a water bed with healing ingredients. The spa amenities include bio-pools featuring underwater music, a Dead Sea salt pool, a jacuzzi, and hydro-massage facilities.
During the summer, two outdoor pools are available for children and adults. The thermal zone offers a Finnish and infrared sauna, a steam bath, and a salt room for halotherapy. An innovative offering is the cryosauna, which exposes the body to temperatures as low as minus 160°C to stimulate recovery and vitality.
Furthermore, detox programs include hydrocolon therapy administered by medical specialists. The spa offers a range of treatments, from massages and aromatherapy to anti-aging and rejuvenating programs. For younger guests, specialized facilities include a heated pool purified through ultrasound and electrolysis.
The spa center is highlighted as a key component of the Lucky Bansko Aparthotel, offering comprehensive weight loss, detox, and anti-stress experiences within the Bansko retreat setting.
