According to data published by the Central Election Commission, Progressive Bulgaria secured the highest number of votes among Bulgarian political parties in the snap parliamentary elections held in Greece. As of 8:00 AM on Monday, 95.74% of the processed tally sheets indicated the results. The figures show that 2,061 votes were cast for Progressive Bulgaria by Bulgarian citizens residing in Greece.
The second-place position was held by the Continue the Change – Democratic Bulgaria coalition, which garnered 889 votes. Following these results, GERB-UDF received 404 votes. The remaining parties received votes in descending order: Velichie obtained 344 votes, followed by Vazrazhdane with 293 votes.
MECh received 285 votes, while Siyanie secured 102 votes, and BSP – United Left received 68 votes. The data detailing the votes in Greece also accounted for 53 instances where voters selected the option indicating they did not support any listed candidate or party. The results provide a snapshot of the political sentiment within the Bulgarian diaspora community in Greece.
