Bulgaria Wins Most Votes in Greece Voting Sections, Preliminary Results Show

Progressive Bulgaria secured the highest number of votes in the recent snap parliamentary elections for Bulgaria held in Greece. According to data published by the Central Election Commission’s website, Progressive Bulgaria received 2,061 votes from Bulgarian citizens casting ballots in Greece, based on an analysis of 95.74% of the processed tally sheets as of 8:00 AM on Monday morning. The election results provide a snapshot of the political sentiment among the Bulgarian diaspora community residing in Greece.

The Continue the Change – Democratic Bulgaria coalition garnered the second-highest total, accumulating 889 votes. GERB-UDF followed with 404 votes. Other parties registered votes including Velichie with 344, Vazrazhdane with 293, and MECh with 285.

Smaller parties received support from Siyanie with 102 votes and BSP – United Left with 68 votes. In total, 53 voters cast a ballot indicating they did not support any listed candidate or party. The comprehensive data highlights the distribution of votes across various political factions within the Bulgarian community in Greece.
