Centre at Ensana Aquahouse Hotel Develops New Anti-stress Programmes

The spa centre at Ensana Aquahouse Hotel, located in the Sts. Constantine and Helena resort near Varna, is currently developing new anti-stress programmes, according to spa manager Nikolay Popov. These services are primarily designed for working individuals requiring mental recovery, with the goal of mitigating chronic stress levels.

Popov noted that the increasingly fast pace of modern life often leads to accumulated mental tension, which, combined with physical inactivity, can predispose the body to degenerative processes. The spa’s therapies appeal to all age groups. Even young professionals, who face significant pressure in competitive environments, are utilizing the anti-stress treatments.

The programmes are structured with an individual approach, intended to provide lasting benefits even after the guest departs. Mineral water is highlighted for its ability to reduce tension by signaling relaxation to the central nervous system, resulting in lowered heart rate and blood pressure. Furthermore, since late 2025, Ensana Aquahouse has introduced a specialized underwater kinesiotherapy programme.

This service aims to restore physical function lost or temporarily impaired due to surgery, joint replacement, or neurodegenerative conditions. A kinesiotherapist guides and supports the movements throughout the session. In a broader industry context, BTA covers certified spa, wellness, and medical spa centres across Bulgaria.

This industry initiative is linked to the HEALTHXCHANGE SUMMIT, scheduled for May 11 to 13, 2026, in various Bulgarian locations.
