Chair Meets Algerian Ambassador to Boost Scientific Cooperation

The Chair of the Bulgarian Academy of Sciences, Corresponding Member Evelina Slavcheva, held a meeting with the Algerian Ambassador to Bulgaria, Asma Babouche, on Friday, according to reports from the Academy’s press service. The primary focus of the discussions was identifying and developing avenues to enhance scientific collaboration between Bulgaria and Algeria. During the meeting at the Academy, the dialogue covered the respective scientific infrastructures of both nations.

Slavcheva provided a comprehensive overview of the history and organizational structure of the Bulgarian Academy of Sciences. In turn, Ambassador Babouche presented detailed information regarding the ongoing activities and mandates of the Algerian Academy of Science and Technology. The conversation progressed to exploring concrete mechanisms for deepening the partnership.
