Russia conducted a large-scale drone attack on the Odesa region overnight, according to Serhii Lysak, head of the Odesa City Military Administration. Lysak reported that the massive drone assault targeted various parts of the city, resulting in 13 reported injuries. Historically, the Odesa region has been home to a notable Bulgarian population, which, according to the official census, was the third largest group in Ukraine in 2001. Currently, an estimated 50,000 to 60,000 Bulgarians reside in the city of Odesa itself.
The most concentrated Bulgarian communities are situated in the Bolhrad, Izmail, and Bilhorod-Dnistrovskyi districts.
