During the competition, Nasar established an early lead in the snatch with a lift of 176 kg, followed by a 210 kg lift in the clean and jerk.
His performances in both disciplines contributed to a dominant overall victory. Armenia’s Ara Aganyan finished in second place with a total of 381 kg, and Romain Imadouchene of France secured the bronze medal with a total of 370 kg. In the snatch, Nasar successfully lifted 176 kg to clinch the gold medal, having opened at 170 kg.
During the clean and jerk, an initial 210 kg lift was not validated by the judges following a review, but Nasar successfully repeated the weight on his second attempt. For his final lift in the clean and jerk, Nasar attempted 223 kg in an effort to set a world record total, but this lift was unsuccessful. Overall, the performance marked a significant achievement for Nasar, solidifying his status at the European level.
