Grand Hotel Therme in Banya attracts visitors with its combination of mineral water and mountain air. The hotel complex, Pulse Therme Banya, is noted as Bulgaria’s largest spa center, spanning over 6,000 square meters. The facility offers extensive thermal amenities, including an ice room, contrast areas with steam baths and shock pools, a hydromassage pool, and various saunas such as bio, honey, infusion, and Finnish panoramic saunas.

Guests can also experience a Vichy shower, which combines massage with warm, rain-like water. Additional features include a salt room, the Volcano pool, a Kneipp path, and the Cleopatra Room, designed to evoke ancient beauty rituals. The hotel also boasts indoor and outdoor pools, one featuring light and sound effects, such as the “Starry Sky” pool.

The complex continually enhances its offerings, recently hosting a Sauna Fest showcasing international sauna culture. For recreation, the new Therme Fun & Sport Park covers over 25 decares and features activities ranging from a rope park and trampolines to karting and horseback riding, alongside nature trails and a zoo corner. The hotel has received multiple accolades, including SPA Hotel of the Year.

Furthermore, the property was awarded the Building of the Year in the Holiday Hotels category. BTA also highlights Bulgaria’s robust wellness sector through its BG SPA: Salus per aquam feature, which covers over 200 certified spa, wellness, and medical spa centers. This initiative is linked to the HEALTHXCHANGE SUMMIT in Varna, Sts.
