Fuel prices in Bulgaria continued to rise throughout april, according to data published by the Sofia-based online platform Fuelo. The most significant percentage increases were noted in liquefied petroleum gas (LPG) and diesel fuel. For gasoline, the widely used A95 grade saw a modest increase of EUR 0.03 per liter, representing a 2.04% rise.
Its price moved from EUR 1.47/l on April 1 to its current level of EUR 1.50, suggesting a trend toward stabilization. Premium A98 petrol also experienced an upward trend, increasing by EUR 0.02/l or 1.18% over the month, moving from EUR 1.69/l to EUR 1.71/l. Diesel fuel recorded a more substantial increase, with its prices rising by EUR 0.11/l, or 6.55%.
The cost for diesel moved from EUR 1.68 to EUR 1.79. LPG saw the largest percentage jump during april, increasing by EUR 0.09/l, or 12.33%. Its prices rose from EUR 0.73 on April 1 to EUR 0.82.
Furthermore, methane (compressed natural gas) also saw an uptick, with a monthly rise of EUR 0.06 per kilogram, or 5.26%. Over the month, the cost of methane increased from EUR 1.15/kg to EUR 1.20/kg. Overall, the data reflects varied movements across different fuel types throughout the period, with eur values showing consistent upward pressure in several sectors.
