Fuel prices in Bulgaria demonstrated continued increases throughout April, according to data compiled by the Sofia-based platform Fuelo. The most substantial percentage rise during the month was observed in Liquefied Petroleum Gas (LPG), followed by diesel fuel. For gasoline, the widely used A95 petrol saw a modest increase of 2.04%, rising by EUR 0.03 per litre.
Its price moved from EUR 1.47 on April 1 to EUR 1.50, indicating a trend toward stabilization. Premium A98 petrol also followed an upward trajectory, increasing by 1.18% over the month, reaching EUR 1.71 per litre from an initial price of EUR 1.69. Diesel fuel recorded a more pronounced increase, rising by 6.55% over the course of April.
Its price climbed by EUR 0.11 per litre, moving from EUR 1.68 to EUR 1.79. The largest fluctuation in overall fuel prices was recorded for LPG, which saw a 12.33% increase, amounting to EUR 0.09 per litre, taking the price from EUR 0.73 at the start of April to EUR 0.82. Furthermore, the prices for Methane, or compressed natural gas, also rose.
