Fuel prices in Bulgaria showed continued increases throughout April, according to data reported by the Sofia-based platform Fuelo. Liquefied petroleum gas (LPG) experienced the most significant percentage rise during the month, followed by diesel fuel. For petrol, the widely used A95 grade increased by EUR 0.03 per liter, representing a 2.04% rise.
The price moved from EUR 1.47/l on April 1 to the current rate of EUR 1.50, with some indication of stabilization emerging. Premium A98 petrol also followed an upward trend, increasing by EUR 0.02/l or 1.18% over the period, moving from EUR 1.69/l to EUR 1.71/l. Diesel fuel saw a more substantial increase, rising by EUR 0.11/l, or 6.55%.
Its price increased from EUR 1.68 to EUR 1.79. The largest percentage increase in April was noted for LPG, whose price rose by EUR 0.09/l, or 12.33%. The price for LPG increased from EUR 0.73 on April 1 to EUR 0.82 currently.
Methane, or compressed natural gas, also saw a price adjustment, with a monthly increase of EUR 0.06 per kilogram, amounting to 5.26%. At the start of the month, the price was EUR 1.15/kg, reaching EUR 1.20/kg by April 30. These figures reflect the varied trends observed across different fuel types during April.
