Fuel prices in Bulgaria continued to rise throughout April, according to data reported by the Sofia-based platform Fuelo. The most notable percentage increases were recorded for liquefied petroleum gas (LPG) and diesel fuel. For gasoline, the standard A95 petrol saw an increase of EUR 0.03 per litre, representing a 2.04% rise.
Its price moved from EUR 1.47/litre on April 1st to its current level of EUR 1.50, indicating a trend toward stabilization. Premium A98 petrol also experienced an upward trend, increasing by EUR 0.02/litre, or 1.18%, over the month, rising from EUR 1.69/litre to EUR 1.71/litre. Diesel fuel saw a more substantial increase, with its price rising by EUR 0.11/litre, or 6.55%.
The price for diesel moved from EUR 1.68 to EUR 1.79 during the month. The largest percentage gain for the month was observed in LPG. Its price increased by EUR 0.09/litre, marking a 12.33% rise from EUR 0.73 on April 1st to EUR 0.82 currently.
Additionally, methane (compressed natural gas) prices also rose, increasing by EUR 0.06 per kilogramme, or 5.26%. At the beginning of April, the price was EUR 1.15/kg, reaching EUR 1.20/kg by April 30th. Overall, the data reflects varied movements in the domestic fuel prices across the course of April.
