Prices in Bulgaria Rise by Between 1% and 12% in April

Fuel prices in Bulgaria continued to increase throughout April, according to data published by the Sofia-based online platform Fuelo. The most notable percentage increases were recorded for liquefied petroleum gas (LPG) and diesel fuel. For petrol, the standard A95 grade saw a modest increase of EUR 0.03 per litre, representing a 2.04% rise.

On April 1, the price was EUR 1.47/l, reaching EUR 1.50 currently, suggesting a trend toward stabilization. Premium A98 petrol also experienced an upward trend, increasing by EUR 0.02/l or 1.18% over the month, moving from EUR 1.69/l at the start of April to EUR 1.71/l. Diesel fuel registered a more substantial increase, rising by EUR 0.11/l, or 6.55%.

Its price climbed from EUR 1.68 to EUR 1.79. The largest percentage gain during April was seen in LPG, whose price increased by EUR 0.09/l, or 12.33%. The cost rose from EUR 0.73 on April 1 to EUR 0.82 presently.

Additionally, methane (compressed natural gas) saw a price escalation. Over the month, its price increased by EUR 0.06 per kilogramme, or 5.26%. The cost moved from EUR 1.15/kg at the beginning of the period to EUR 1.20/kg by April 30.
