Organizers include Sofia University, the State Archives Agency, the G.S. Rakovski National Defence College, the St Cyril and St Methodius University of Veliko Turnovo, the St Cyril and St Methodius National Library, and the Institute for Historical Studies at the Bulgarian Academy of Sciences. The commemorative events are structured throughout the day.
The proceedings will begin at 11:00 am with a ceremony held at the National Defence College. This will be followed by the official opening of the academic session at 1:00 pm in the Sofia University Rectorate, where historians are slated to participate in panel discussions concerning the anniversary. Additionally, a poster exhibition dedicated to the April Uprising will open at 1:45 pm in the Rectorate foyer, curated by Asst.
