Bulgaria Wins Most Votes in Greece Voting Sections, Preliminary Results Show

Progressive Bulgaria secured the highest number of votes among Bulgarian political entities in the recent snap parliamentary elections held in Greece. According to data published by the Central Election Commission, Progressive Bulgaria received 2,061 votes from Bulgarian citizens voting in Greece, based on 95.74% of the processed tally sheets as of 8:00 AM on Monday. The voting results indicate the distribution of support across various political groups within the diaspora community in Greece.

The Continue the Change – Democratic Bulgaria coalition garnered the second-highest total with 889 votes. Following these figures, GERB-UDF received 404 votes, while Velichie obtained 344 votes. Other parties and groups recorded subsequent totals: Vazrazhdane received 293 votes, MECh received 285 votes, Siyanie received 102 votes, and BSP – United Left received 68 votes.

In total, 53 voters opted for the “I do not support anyone” option. The data provides a snapshot of the voting patterns for the Bulgarian electorate residing in Greece during the election cycle. These figures are crucial for understanding the political sentiment among the Bulgarian community abroad.
