The global wine scene is currently converging in Sofia for Discover.Vino 2026, which is taking place at Hall 3 of the National Palace of Culture (NDK) on Friday and Saturday. This seventh international vino exhibition centers on showcasing the world’s diverse wine regions and the individuals who represent them. According to the organizers at DiVino, attendees can engage directly with winery representatives and wine experts who will discuss the origins of the wines.
The event is accessible to the public from 2 p.m. to 9 p.m. on Friday, and from 12 noon to 9 p.m.
on Saturday. Discover.Vino 2026 features a curated selection emphasizing wine origin as the defining source of style, character, and identity, ranging from classic European terroirs to emerging destinations across other continents. Over the two days, visitors can explore the breadth of wine regions in one location, learning how climate, soil composition, and tradition influence a wine’s style.
The event facilitates comparing different terroirs through guided tastings and discovering new wine tourism destinations. The exhibition serves as a key platform for both connoisseurs and industry professionals seeking depth and authenticity beyond simple tasting. It provides direct contact opportunities for importers and the public.
HoReCa industry representatives, sommeliers, and traders can sample new brands and vintages, exchange knowledge, and speak with importers and winery representatives present in Bulgaria. For the general public, it offers an opportunity to expand wine knowledge and purchase wines on site. The program also includes masterclasses designed to deepen global wine understanding, alongside a dedicated zone offering food, delicacies, coffee, and desserts.
