Speaking at the party’s headquarters, Yes, Bulgaria co-chair Ivaylo Mirchev asserted that the prosecution service was being used as part of what he termed the “Borissov-Peevski model.” Mirchev noted that this model continued to function, suggesting the prosecution was once again being employed against reformers.

These remarks followed Kandev’s assertion that he had received calls warning him to resign, alleging that false testimony was being presented at the Sofia City Prosecution Office, which he stated was an attempt to force his resignation.
