Balneo Hotel in Pavel Banya Renovates Its Spa Centre

The DianaMar Balneo Hotel in Pavel Banya is undergoing a comprehensive renovation of its spa centre, according to General Manager Georgi Paunov. The upgrades are set to include a new ice room alongside enhancements to the existing salt rooms, steam baths, and saunas. Paunov noted that DianaMar serves as an extension of the Avicenna Medical Centre’s activities in Pavel Banya, building upon its prior development at the Markoni Balneo Hotel.

He explained that the facility was among the first in the south-central town to offer advanced balneological services nearly a decade ago. The design draws inspiration from renowned European balneological resorts, such as Baden-Baden, Spa, Vichy, and Karlovy Vary, incorporating proprietary innovations. The complex’s team comprises specialists in physical and rehabilitation medicine, with operations coordinated by Dr.

Miroslav Minev. All procedures adhere strictly to medical standards and utilize specialized equipment. DianaMar offers various treatments, including hyperbaric oxygenation, cryotherapy, focused high-intensity EMSELLA therapy, and focused shockwave therapy (FSWT).

These methods are utilized for treating medical conditions and aiding the preparation and recovery of active athletes, aiming for reduced recovery times and increased therapeutic efficacy. The facility combines natural and mechanical treatments with kinesitherapy, with a primary focus on balneotherapy due to the beneficial mineral composition of the water in Pavel Banya. Complementary spa and wellness services are also provided.

The hotel features 80 guest rooms, maintaining an approximate occupancy rate of 95%. Guests originate from Bulgaria, as well as countries including Kosovo, Albania, North Macedonia, Switzerland, Austria, Belarus, and Ukraine.
