Bulgaria Wins Most Votes in Greece Voting Sections, Preliminary Results Show

Progressive Bulgaria secured the highest number of votes among political parties in the recent snap parliamentary elections held in Greece, according to data released by the Central Election Commission. As of 8:00 AM on Monday, processed tally sheets indicated that 2,061 votes were cast for Progressive Bulgaria by Bulgaria citizens residing in Greece, representing 95.74% of the processed sheets. The election results data detailed the distribution of votes among various political groups.

The Continue the Change – Democratic Bulgaria coalition received the second-highest tally with 889 votes. GERB-UDF garnered 404 votes, followed by Velichie with 344 votes. Other parties recorded votes for Vazrazhdane (293), MECh (285), Siyanie (102), and BSP – United Left (68).

Additionally, 53 voters opted for the “I do not support anyone” option. The figures provide a snapshot of the political sentiment among the Bulgaria diaspora in Greece during the election.
