Bulgaria Wins Most Votes in Greece Voting Sections, Preliminary Results Show

Progressive Bulgaria secured the highest number of votes among Bulgarian political parties at the snap parliamentary elections held in Greece, according to preliminary data released by the Central Election Commission. As of 8:00 AM on Monday, 95.74% of the processed tally sheets indicated that 2,061 Bulgarian citizens in Greece cast their votes for Progressive Bulgaria. The data provided a breakdown of support across various political groups.

The Continue the Change – Democratic Bulgaria coalition garnered the second-highest total with 889 votes. GERB-UDF received 404 votes, followed by Velichie with 344 votes. Other parties recorded support totals of 293 votes for Vazrazhdane, 285 votes for MECh, and 102 votes for Siyanie.

BSP – United Left received 68 votes. Furthermore, the central election commission noted that a total of 53 voters opted for the “I do not support anyone” option. These figures reflect the voting patterns of the Bulgarian diaspora in Greece.
