Bulgaria Wins Most Votes in Greece Voting Sections, Preliminary Results Show

Progressive Bulgaria secured the highest number of votes among Bulgarian expatriates participating in the snap parliamentary elections held in Greece. According to data published by the Central Election Commission website, as of 8:00 AM on Monday morning, 2,061 votes were cast for Progressive Bulgaria at voting sections across Greece. The election results provide a detailed snapshot of the political sentiment among the Bulgarian community residing in Greece.

The second-place showing was recorded by the Continue the Change – Democratic Bulgaria coalition, which garnered 889 votes. GERB-UDF followed in third place with 404 votes. The distribution of the remaining votes showed several other parties receiving support.

Velichie received 344 votes, while Vazrazhdane collected 293 votes. MECh registered 285 votes, followed by Siyanie with 102 votes, and BSP – United Left with 68 votes. The data compiled reflects the turnout and the preferences expressed by the Bulgarian electorate in Greece.

Furthermore, 53 voters exercised their right to cast a ballot indicating that they did not support any of the listed parties. These figures represent the preliminary count of votes received in the elections held abroad.
