Bulgaria Wins Most Votes in Greece Voting Sections, Preliminary Results Show

Progressive Bulgaria secured the highest number of votes among various political parties in the recent snap parliamentary elections held in Greece, according to data released by the Central Election Commission. As of 8:00 AM on Monday morning, data covering 95.74% of the processed tally sheets indicated that 2,061 votes were cast for Progressive Bulgaria by Bulgaria citizens residing in Greece. The election results show a clear ranking among the participating groups.

The “Continue the Change – Democratic Bulgaria” coalition garnered the second-highest number of votes with 889 votes. GERB-UDF followed with 404 votes. Other parties received substantial support, with Velichie receiving 344 votes, Vazrazhdane obtaining 293 votes, and MECh receiving 285 votes.

Siyanie recorded 102 votes, and BSP – United Left received 68 votes. In addition to the listed parties, 53 voters exercised their right to cast a vote indicating they did not support any specific candidate or party. The data published on the Central Election Commission’s website provides a snapshot of the voting patterns within the Bulgaria diaspora in Greece.
