Bulgaria Wins Most Votes in Greece Voting Sections, Preliminary Results Show

Progressive Bulgaria secured the highest number of votes among Bulgarian political parties in the recent snap parliamentary elections held in Greece, according to data released by the Central Election Commission. As of 8:00 AM on Monday, the commission reported results from 95.74% of the processed tally sheets. The figures indicate that 2,061 Bulgarian citizens in Greece cast their votes for Progressive Bulgaria.

The second-place position was held by the Continue the Change – Democratic Bulgaria coalition, which received 889 votes. GERB-UDF garnered 404 votes, followed by Velichie with 344 votes, and Vazrazhdane with 293 votes. Other parties recorded votes for MECh (285), Siyanie (102), and BSP – United Left (68).

Furthermore, 53 voters selected the option indicating no support for any candidate or party. These statistics provide a snapshot of the political sentiment among the Bulgarian diaspora in Greece. The data shows the distribution of votes across various political groups participating in the elections within Greece.

The results are based on the preliminary count of processed ballots, reflecting the support received by different parties from the Bulgarian community in Greece.
