While Bulgarian tourists form the largest segment of guests, international visitors originate mainly from Germany, Israel, Russia, and the United Kingdom. Guests are primarily drawn to the water-based therapies for recovery and relaxation.
The mineral water’s alkaline properties are stated to help cleanse the skin, stimulate regeneration, and support detoxification. Treatments and immersion in the mineral water are particularly recommended for individuals with sedentary occupations or past injuries, as the heat and mineral composition are reported to relax muscles and improve mobility without placing undue strain on the heart. Spanning 17 decares, the Ismena complex includes a hotel section, fifteen guest houses, and landscaped park areas.
