Centre at Ensana Aquahouse Hotel Develops New Anti-stress Programmes

The spa centre at Ensana Aquahouse Hotel, located in the Sts. Constantine and Helena resort near Varna on the Black Sea, is introducing advanced anti-stress programmes, according to spa manager Nikolay Popov. These services primarily cater to working individuals seeking mental recovery and aim to mitigate chronic levels of stress.

Popov noted that modern life’s rapid pace often leads to mental tension accumulation. When the mind is overloaded without sufficient physical activity, it can contribute to degenerative bodily processes. The centre addresses this need across all age groups.

Even young professionals, who face intense pressure in dynamic environments, utilize the anti-stress therapies. The programmes are developed using an individualized approach, ensuring guests can maintain their wellness routines after their stay concludes. Mineral water is highlighted for its role in reducing tension by signaling the central nervous system to relax, thereby slowing heart rate and decreasing blood pressure.

Furthermore, since the end of 2025, the facility has offered specialized underwater kinesitherapy. This programme is designed to restore physical function lost or temporarily impaired due to surgery, joint replacement, or neurodegenerative conditions. During these sessions, a kinesitherapist actively guides and supports the patient’s movements.

BTA reports that this initiative is part of a larger feature, “BG SPA: Salus per aquam,” which showcases over 200 certified spa, wellness, and medical spa centres across Bulgaria. This coverage is linked to Europe’s upcoming health tourism event, the HEALTHXCHANGE SUMMIT, scheduled for May 11–13, 2026, in several Bulgarian locations.
