Grand Hotel Knyaz Pavel is undertaking a significant expansion of its spa facilities, according to General Manager Georgi Paunov. The development aims to enhance the complex’s capacity, with completion anticipated by the end of the year. The upgraded spa centre will incorporate numerous amenities, including additional relaxation rooms, a salt room, a storm room, an adventure trail, a Himalayan sauna, an ice room, and infinity pools featuring mineral water.
The hotel maintains licenses for mineral water use and operates a medical centre certified to deliver a comprehensive range of rehabilitation treatments. This allows the facility to manage various conditions, such as degenerative joint diseases, peripheral nervous system disorders, and post-surgical rehabilitation. The medical centre is staffed by specialists in physical and rehabilitation medicine, neurology, and kinesiotherapy, under the management of Dr.
Miroslav Minev. The spa’s therapeutic offerings include hydrotherapy in a specially designed pool, multifunctional hydro-massage tubs, and various forms of physical therapy. The facilities feature a 32°C outdoor pool and a 36°C indoor pool suitable for water aerobics.
Relaxation areas are equipped with a Kneipp path, a saltwater jacuzzi, steam baths, and multiple types of saunas. In addition to the spa expansion, the hotel has increased its conference capabilities by constructing a second hall and renovating the existing one, bringing the total event capacity to 400 people. These developments are part of a broader strategy to boost conference tourism at the pavel hotel.
The ongoing enhancements solidify the hotel’s position as a major wellness destination in the region.
