The Grand Hotel Knyaz Pavel is undertaking a significant expansion of its spa centre in Pavel Banya, according to General Manager Georgi Paunov. This development is projected to conclude by the end of the year, enhancing the complex’s overall capacity. The new wing will incorporate various amenities, including additional relaxation rooms, a salt room, a storm room, an adventure trail, a Himalayan sauna, an ice room, and infinity pools utilizing mineral water.
The hotel’s medical centre is equipped to manage a broad spectrum of conditions, including degenerative joint diseases, peripheral nervous system disorders, and post-surgical rehabilitation. It operates with a team of specialists in physical medicine, neurology, and kinesiotherapy, overseen by Dr. Miroslav Minev.
The centre provides comprehensive modern physical therapy, ranging from hydrotherapy in a specialized pool to multi-functional massage tubs and various forms of thermotherapy. The existing spa facilities feature a 32°C outdoor pool and a 36°C indoor multi-purpose pool, alongside a panoramic jacuzzi at 38°C. Relaxation amenities are extensive, covering a Kneipp path, saltwater jacuzzi, and multiple saunas (Turkish, Finnish, herbal) in addition to a salt room.
Beyond wellness, the hotel has also expanded its event capabilities, completing a new conference hall and renovating an existing one, raising its total event capacity to 400 people to support conference tourism. This expansion solidifies the hotel’s position as a premier destination in the region.
