Hotel Knyaz Pavel Expands Its Spa Centre with New Building in Pavel Banya

Grand Hotel Knyaz Pavel is undertaking a significant expansion of its spa facility in Pavel Banya, according to General Manager Georgi Paunov. This new development is slated for completion by the end of the year, enhancing the complex’s overall capacity. The expanded spa will feature multiple amenities, including an adventure trail, a salt room, a storm room, a Himalayan sauna, an ice room, and infinity pools utilizing mineral water.

The hotel’s medical centre is certified to deliver a comprehensive range of rehabilitation treatments. Paunov noted that this allows for the management of diverse conditions, such as degenerative joint diseases, peripheral nervous system disorders, and post-surgical recovery. The centre operates with specialists in physical medicine, neurology, and kinesiotherapy, utilizing modern physical therapy, hydrotherapy in specialized pools, and various thermotherapy procedures.

In addition to wellness treatments, the hotel has also enhanced its event capabilities, constructing a second conference hall and renovating the existing one, raising the total event capacity to 400 people to support conference tourism. BTA highlights this development as part of a broader focus on Bulgarian health tourism. The publication features certified spa, wellness, and medical spa centres across Bulgaria, with the initiative supporting Europe’s major health tourism event, the HEALTHXCHANGE SUMMIT, scheduled for 2026.
