Hotel Knyaz Pavel Expands Its Spa Centre with New Building in Pavel Banya

Grand Hotel Knyaz Pavel is undertaking a significant expansion of its spa centre in Pavel Banya. According to General Manager Georgi Paunov, the project is scheduled for completion by the end of the year and will augment the complex’s overall capacity. The additions will include new relaxation rooms, a salt room, a storm room, an adventure trail, a Himalayan sauna, an ice room, and mineral water infinity pools.

The hotel’s medical centre is certified to provide a comprehensive range of rehabilitation treatments, utilizing its license to use mineral water. This allows the facility to manage various conditions, such as degenerative joint diseases, peripheral nervous system disorders, and post-surgical rehabilitation. The centre operates with specialists in physical and rehabilitation medicine, neurology, and kinesiotherapy.

The spa facilities offer diverse treatments, including hydrotherapy in a specialized pool, multifunctional hydro-massage tubs, and various forms of physical therapy. The amenities include an outdoor pool heated to 32°C, a 36°C multi-purpose indoor pool, a Kneipp path, and multiple saunas. Furthermore, the hotel has bolstered its conference capabilities with the addition and renovation of a second hall, increasing event capacity to 400 people as part of its conference tourism development strategy.

These developments are highlighted by BTA, which covers certified spa, wellness, and medical spa centres in Bulgaria under its BG SPA: Salus per aquam feature. This initiative supports the industry’s connection to major international events, such as the HEALTHXCHANGE SUMMIT in 2026.
