Leader Mihaylov: Results Are Fair and Represent Voters’ Choice

In a statement released on Monday via the “Free Voice” YouTube channel, Velichie party leader Ivelin Mihaylov addressed the early parliamentary election results. Mihaylov stated that the outcome was fair and represented the will of the electorate. According to the figures, even after processing 96.41% of the tally sheets, Velichie secured 3.12% of the vote, falling below the 4% threshold required for entry into the National Assembly.

Addressing the low percentage, Mihaylov indicated a strategic shift for the party. He suggested that given the inability to enter the assembly, it would be more beneficial for the votes to support Rumen Radev, allowing him to assume responsibility. Consequently, he announced that Velichie would pivot to functioning primarily as a political entity for its core members and committed supporters.

The leader critiqued the current political environment, contrasting the party’s original vision—a state where knowledgeable individuals could thrive alongside equal rights for all citizens—with what he described as the current absolute power held by oligarchs. Mihaylov clarified that going forward, Velichie’s protective focus would be limited to its own electorate rather than the general populace.
