The President of North Macedonia, Gordana Siljanovska-Davkova, extended her congratulations to Rumen Radev following his victory in the recent parliamentary elections. Speaking after attending the Conference of Presidents and Speakers of Parliaments of the Adriatic & Ionian Initiative in Skopje, the President emphasized the necessity of a regional cooperative approach. She concluded by expressing her anticipation of arranging a meeting with him.

Earlier, Prime Minister Hristijan Mickoski also offered congratulations to Radev, stressing the importance of dialogue and maintaining good neighborly relations between the countries. In North Macedonia, commentary surrounding the election results in Bulgaria has largely centered on the potential impact these outcomes may have on Bulgaria’s current position regarding the path toward EU membership for Macedonia.
