Macedonia’s President Congratulates Rumen Radev on Election Victory

The President of North Macedonia, Gordana Siljanovska-Davkova, offered congratulations to Rumen Radev following his victory in the recent parliamentary elections in Bulgaria. Speaking after attending a Conference of Presidents and Speakers of Parliaments of the Adriatic & Ionian Initiative in Skopje, the President emphasized the necessity of a regional cooperative approach. She confirmed that she had communicated with Radev after the election, noting that she subsequently received a call from him. “I wished him success and said I believe that such strong support is a guarantee of stability,” she told reporters, adding that Bulgarian citizens likely view him as a stabilizing force for the country. She suggested this support might facilitate his efforts to form a government and implement his platform, expressing anticipation for a future meeting.
