According to the hotel manager, Videlin Piskov, the facility distinguishes itself by utilizing natural cosmetics derived from the complex’s own vineyards. Piskov noted that the spa incorporates essential oils extracted from grape seeds from the winery into various products, including massage oils, toning serums, and eye contour treatments.
Furthermore, exfoliating products utilize crushed grape seed pulp. The center also provides specialized wine-based procedures, featuring wine mud sourced from the winery’s fermenters. The range of treatments encompasses antioxidant wine therapies, aromatherapy, relaxing rituals, alongside standard and therapeutic massages and facial and body cosmetic treatments.
The complex features mineral water with a temperature of approximately 54°C, which is beneficial for skin health and the musculoskeletal system, supporting detoxification, improved circulation, and skin restoration. The spa area is equipped with extensive amenities, including indoor and outdoor mineral pools, a saltwater pool with hydromassage jets, a plunge pool for contrast therapy, Finnish and aromatic saunas, steam baths, hammams, a snow room, a sun room, and a salt cave for halotherapy. The starosel complex employs kinesiotherapists, rehabilitation specialists, and massage therapists.
While the primary clientele during the autumn, winter, and spring seasons are Bulgarian, the number of international guests rises during the summer. The largest contingents of international visitors originate from Germany, Turkiye, Romania, the United Kingdom, Belgium, Netherlands, and Luxembourg.
