Thracian Residence in Starosel Blends Mineral Water and Wine Therapies

SPA Thracian Residence, located within the Starosel Wine & Spa Complex in the village of Starosel, Plovdiv Region, integrates mineral water treatments with specialized wine-based therapies. According to the hotel manager, Videlin Piskov, the facility distinguishes itself by utilizing natural cosmetics derived from the complex’s own vineyards in its various treatments. The spa incorporates essential oils extracted from grape seeds from the winery’s production into massage oils, toning serums, and eye contour products.

Additionally, crushed grape seed pulp is utilized in exfoliating products. The center also provides wine-based procedures, such as utilizing wine mud sourced from the winery’s fermenters, alongside antioxidant wine therapies, aromatherapy, and relaxing rituals. Complementing these are standard and therapeutic massages, as well as facial and body cosmetic treatments.

The complex features mineral water at approximately 54°C, which offers documented benefits for both the skin and the musculoskeletal system by aiding detoxification, improving circulation, and promoting skin restoration.
