Centre at Ensana Aquahouse Hotel Develops New Anti-stress Programmes

The spa centre at Ensana Aquahouse Hotel, located in the Sts. Constantine and Helena resort near Varna on the Black Sea, is developing enhanced anti-stress programmes. According to spa manager Nikolay Popov, these services primarily cater to working individuals seeking mental recovery by targeting the reduction of chronic stress levels.

He noted that the increasingly fast pace of modern life often leads to accumulated mental tension. The spa centre’s offerings are popular across all age groups. The manager stated that even young professionals, who face significant pressure in competitive environments, seek out anti-stress therapies.

The facility tailors its programmes with an individual approach, allowing guests to maintain wellness practices after their visit concludes. Mineral water is highlighted for its role in reducing tension by sending relaxing signals to the central nervous system, which consequently helps lower heart rate and blood pressure. Beyond general wellness, Ensana Aquahouse has also introduced a specialized underwater kinesitherapy programme since the end of 2025.

This is designed to restore physical function for individuals recovering from surgery, joint replacement, or those managing neurodegenerative conditions or temporary mobility loss. These exercises are guided and supported by a kinesitherapist. In related news, BTA is featuring Bulgaria’s extensive network of certified spa, wellness, and medical spa centres, numbering over 200.

This initiative is linked to the upcoming HEALTHXCHANGE SUMMIT, scheduled for May 11–13, 2026, in various Bulgarian locations.
