41st Flora Burgas Exhibition to Open on May 1 Dedicated to Giro d’Italia

The 41st Flora Burgas flower exhibition is scheduled to open on May 1, with its theme centered around the Giro d’Italia 2026, according to Flora Exhibition Centre Manager Miroslava Argirova. Speaking to BTA on Thursday, Argirova noted that the preparations for this year’s flora event include an increase in the number of traditional art installations, which will be double the amount featured in previous years. Argirova confirmed that the exhibition anticipates participation from over 100 entities within the country, encompassing flower distributors and suppliers of garden equipment.

Reflecting the spirit of the cycling tour, the flora presentation will focus on themes related to an active lifestyle, movement, and cycling. She added that thousands of plants will be showcased across the trade areas. The timing of the exhibition aligns with the first stage of the Giro d’Italia, which is set to begin in Nessebar and conclude in Burgas on May 8.

According to Miroslava Argirova, the displayed floral compositions will aim to resonate with this theme of activity and movement. The event remains a significant gathering for the horticultural trade, with substantial plant displays expected throughout the venue.
