Asenova noted that 90% of workplace accidents are preventable if occupational safety rules are strictly followed. She reminded the public that common causes include crushing, entrapment, falls from height, and being struck by falling objects. High-risk sectors identified as of mid-April 2026 include construction, crop and livestock farming, metal product manufacturing (excluding machinery), and trade.
