The DianaMar Balneo Hotel in Pavel Banya is undergoing a comprehensive renovation of its spa center, according to General Manager Georgi Paunov. The upgrades are expected to include a new ice room, alongside enhancements to the existing salt rooms, steam baths, and saunas. Paunov noted that DianaMar serves as an extension of the Avicenna Medical Centre’s activities in the area.
The development aims to provide high-level balneological services, positioning the facility as a key center in the south-central region. The design concept draws inspiration from renowned European balneological resorts such as Baden-Baden and Vichy, incorporating proprietary innovations. The complex features a team of specialists in physical and rehabilitation medicine, with operations coordinated by Dr.
Miroslav Minev. All procedures adhere to strict medical standards and utilize specialized equipment. Services offered include hyperbaric oxygenation, cryotherapy, focused high-intensity EMSELLA therapy, and focused shockwave therapy (FSWT).
These advanced methods are utilized for treating medical conditions and supporting the recovery of active athletes, aiming to reduce recovery time and increase therapy efficacy. The facility’s primary focus remains balneotherapy, capitalizing on the beneficial mineral water composition found in Pavel Banya, which is beneficial for musculoskeletal disorders. Complementary spa and wellness services are also available.
The 80-room hotel maintains a high occupancy rate, attracting guests from Bulgaria and several international destinations.
