Bulgaria Wins Most Votes in Greece Voting Sections, Preliminary Results Show

According to preliminary data released by the Central Election Commission, Progressive Bulgaria secured the highest number of votes among Bulgarian voters participating in the recent snap parliamentary elections held in Greece. As of 8:00 AM on Monday morning, the figures represented 95.74% of the processed tally sheets. The election results indicate that 2,061 votes were cast for Progressive Bulgaria.

Following this result, the Continue the Change – Democratic Bulgaria coalition garnered the second-highest total with 889 votes. The remaining votes were distributed among several other political groups representing the diaspora. GERB-UDF received 404 votes, while Velichie secured 344 votes.

Vazrazhdane collected 293 votes, followed by MECh with 285 votes. Smaller parties included Siyanie with 102 votes and BSP – United Left with 68 votes. Overall, a total of 53 votes were cast for the option indicating no support for any listed party.

These figures detail the allocation of votes from the Bulgarian community residing in Greece. The data provides a snapshot of the political sentiment within the expatriate voting bloc concerning the future direction of Bulgaria’s political landscape.
