The Grand Hotel Knyaz Pavel is undertaking a significant expansion of its spa centre in Pavel Banya, according to General Manager Georgi Paunov. This development is anticipated to be completed by the end of the year, enhancing the overall capacity of the complex. The new additions will include expanded relaxation rooms, a salt room, a storm room, an adventure trail, a Himalayan sauna, an ice room, and infinity pools featuring mineral water.
The hotel maintains a license for mineral water usage, and its medical centre is certified to provide a comprehensive range of rehabilitation treatments. Paunov noted that this capability allows for the management of various conditions, including degenerative joint diseases, peripheral nervous system disorders, post-traumatic issues, post-surgical rehabilitation, and rheumatological diseases. The medical centre is staffed by specialists in physical and rehabilitation medicine, neurology, kinesiotherapy, and rehabilitation, and is managed by Dr.
Miroslav Minev. The spa centre utilizes modern physical therapy, including hydrotherapy in a specialized pool, multifunctional hydro-massage tubs, kinesiotherapy, thermotherapy, and physical therapy. The outdoor hydrotherapy pool is heated to 32°C and features contrasting temperature pools, alongside a 38°C panoramic jacuzzi.
The indoor area includes a 36°C multi-purpose pool for water aerobics and attractions. Relaxation amenities include a Kneipp path, a 36°C saltwater jacuzzi, steam baths, a Turkish bath, various saunas, an infrared cabin, and the salt room. Furthermore, the hotel built a second conference hall and renovated the existing one, increasing its event capacity to 400 people as part of its strategy to develop conference tourism.
